Terms of Service for PathASI

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PathASI (the "App"), related websites, cloud AI features, support channels, RevenueCat-powered Pro subscriptions, supporter purchases, and other services provided through the App.

1. The service
PathASI is an AI-era alignment app. The App may include Note, Daily Card, text AI Dialogue, text Meditation, transcript saving, supporter-rank status, Pro subscription features, future guide content, and related support features.
Some features may be local to your device. Other features require cloud processing, backend authentication, AI providers, RevenueCat, app stores, payment providers, or other third-party services.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and security
You must be at least 14 years old to use the App. The App may create or use an anonymous or signed-in session to provide cloud AI, user-owned data sync, billing state, supporter rank, security, and support features. You are responsible for your device, account credentials, and activity through your session.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, security risk, violation of these Terms, legal risk, or harm to the service or other users.
3. User content
"User Content" means text, transcripts, notes, meditations, goals, commitments, feedback, files, or other materials that you provide or generate through the App.
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, transmit, store, display, reproduce, and use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide requested App features, generate AI text output, sync saved history, operate billing and supporter rank, maintain security and diagnostics, provide support, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party content unless you have the right to do so and understand the risks of cloud and AI processing.
4. AI-generated output
The App may generate text, guidance, suggestions, or transcripts using AI systems. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unsafe, outdated, or unsuitable for your purpose.
The App does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, immigration, mental-health, emergency, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the App as a substitute for qualified professional judgment or emergency services.
5. Paid features, Pro subscription, and supporter purchases
The App may offer paid features, including a Pro subscription and optional supporter purchases. Purchases may be processed through app stores, RevenueCat, or other payment providers. Prices, availability, product IDs, features, rank thresholds, and benefits may change over time.
- Pro subscription is a feature-access product and may unlock guided dialogue, expanded notes or meditations, transcript saving, or future App features.
- Supporter purchases are separate from Pro subscription and may affect cumulative supporter status or supporter rank.
- Supporter rank is a status, identity, recognition, content-priority, or support-priority feature, not a cash account, investment, or guaranteed future entitlement.
- Supporter purchases and ranks have no cash value, are not transferable, and may not be exchanged for money.
- We may correct status, rank, or access affected by technical errors, fraud, failed payments, chargebacks, refunds, or abuse.
Purchases, restores, chargebacks, and refunds may be handled by the relevant app store, RevenueCat, or payment provider. Their terms and policies may apply in addition to these Terms.
6. Future AI, AGI, or ASI-related support
The App may describe a long-term roadmap involving advanced AI, AGI, ASI, workflow support, guide content, experimental access, or priority support. These roadmap statements are directional only.
Supporter rank may influence priority, recognition, or access to future features where available, but it does not guarantee any specific future AI, AGI, ASI, content, service, financial benefit, technical result, or availability. Future offerings depend on technology, law, safety, cost, provider access, and business conditions.
7. Refunds and billing disputes
Refund availability depends on the payment provider, app store, applicable law, and the specific product purchased. If you purchased through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another third-party store, refund requests may need to be submitted through that store. We may revoke, reduce, or adjust access, supporter status, or rank connected to refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or disputed transactions.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to violate law, third-party rights, app-store rules, security, billing, entitlement, rank, rate limits, or access controls; submit illegal or harmful content; generate malware, phishing, scams, credential theft, evasion, or abusive automation; reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the App or backend systems; impersonate others; or use the App for emergency communications, high-risk decisions, or regulated professional advice without qualified human review.
9. Third-party services
The App may depend on third-party services, including cloud backend providers, AI model providers, RevenueCat, app stores, payment providers, analytics, diagnostics, and support tools. We do not control all third-party services and are not responsible for their independent actions, outages, terms, policies, or content.
10. Intellectual property and privacy
The App, software, interfaces, design, trademarks, logos, documentation, and service content are owned by the developer/operator or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or any intellectual property rights to you.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using the App, you agree to the handling of information described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Service changes, disclaimers, and limitation of liability
We may modify, pause, restrict, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and reliability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for the App or paid features during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD 50.
12. Termination, governing law, and changes
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if the service is discontinued.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise. We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date when we do.
